Parking FAQ

  • What is SoCalPark.com?

SoCalPark.com is your go-to platform to save money on airport parking. Whether you’re flying out on a short trip or taking a long vacation, we help you find affordable off-site airport parking where your car will be safe and secure. Our convenient parking platform will help you choose your travel dates, search for the best parking lots nearby, compare their rates and offers, and reserve a spot in just minutes. Our network includes some of the most trusted private parking providers and hotel chains located near major US airports.

  • When you book a parking spot using SoCalPark.com, we automatically create an account for you using the email address you provide. If you want to access your account but don’t remember the password, go to the account login page and click “Forgot Your Password?”. This will allow you to reset your password.

You can also check a reservation you made by using the confirmation code in the reservation mail sent to your email address.

  • Yes, all the parking providers in our network are thoroughly vetted for safety and security. All of them are fenced, well-lit, and paved. Most of them are open 24/7 and have extra security measures like CCTV cameras and round-the-clock parking attendants. Please view the specific details of each lot for more details.

  • Almost all the parking lots in our network provide free complimentary shuttles to and from the airport. The timings and frequency may vary depending on the lot. Please factor in at least 15-20 minutes to get from the lot to the airport.

When booking a spot, please enter the time you expect to arrive at the lot - not the flight departure or arrival time. Some parking providers have regular shuttles that pick customers up from the airport and drop them off at the lot. Others may require you to call them and inform them to pick you up.

  • Yes, we recommend taking a printout of your reservation confirmation mail to present at the parking lot entrance. Some parking lots may only require you to show the confirmation mail on your smartphone. You will find specific details regarding this in the confirmation mail.

  • In case you haven’t received a confirmation email, you can find details of your reservation in your account. Once you login, you can download and print the confirmation mail from the website.

Some parking lots may not require a printed copy of your reservation until the time you pick up your car. Others may only require you to show it on your smartphone. Please go through the details of the lot given on the confirmation mail.

  • You will be eligible for a complete refund of your booking amount only if you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before the reservation start time. If you cancel it between after than, a cancellation fee ($14.95) will be charged and deducted from your refund.

However, we will not be able to refund reservations canceled after your scheduled arrival time.

  • You can cancel your reservation by logging into your account, selecting your reservation, and clicking Cancel.

  • You can edit your reservation details by logging into your account, selecting your reservation, and clicking Change Date/Time.

  • You can contact our customer support team by filling out our contact form. You can also find the contact details of your reserved lot in the ‘Next Steps” section of your confirmation email.

  • We are in the process of expanding our parking inventory in new areas across the country, including near local airports. Please check back with us soon to see if we’ve added new lots near your local airport.

  • You can park near DCA for $8.50 to $11.50 per day through SoCalPark. Courtyard Alexandria Pentagon South is your cheapest option at $8.50, Holiday Inn National/Crystal City runs $9.95, and Embassy Suites Crystal City and Hilton Arlington National Landing come in at $11.50 and $11.25. That beats DCA's own Economy Lot at $25 per day and the $29 to $35 charged at the terminal garages by a wide margin.

  • Off-site parking is the better deal for long DCA trips. Courtyard Alexandria Pentagon South starts at $8.50 per day, so 10 days of covered parking runs about $85. DCA's own Economy Lot costs $250, and Parking 1 runs $350 for the same stay, meaning you save up to 76 percent by parking off-site.

  • Yes, it is worth it, especially if you are budget-conscious or traveling during a busy period. SoCalPark rates run $8.50 to $11.50 per day near DCA, well below the $25 Economy Lot rate and the $29 to $35 charged at the terminal garages. You also get a guaranteed reservation, a free shuttle, covered or outdoor parking options, and free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival.

  • No hidden fees or taxes on DCA parking. Your reservation includes a full breakdown of your rate, with any applicable fees and taxes shown clearly before checkout. Starting at $8.50 per day, the total you confirm is the total you pay, with nothing added on later.

  • Yes, you can feel confident parking off-site near DCA through SoCalPark. Every lot in our network is vetted for security, with 24/7 staffing, camera surveillance, and well-lit spaces. You will find a mix of covered and outdoor options, all monitored around the clock to keep your car secure while you travel. It helps to photograph your car before you park and again at pickup, just in case.

  • Park-and-fly parking near DCA through SoCalPark is always a parking-only reservation, so you never need to book a hotel room to use the lot. If you do want a room, that can be arranged separately with the hotel. Just reserve your dates online, receive your confirmation with a QR code, and check in at the front desk on arrival to park your own car. The free shuttle gets you to DCA in about 2-12 minutes, and when you land, request pickup for the ride back to your vehicle.

  • You will find DCA parking lots 1 to 5 miles from the airport. The closest options, Holiday Inn National/Crystal City and Embassy Suites Crystal City, sit about a mile away, while Courtyard Alexandria Pentagon South is 4 to 5 miles out. Either way, shuttle transfers take just 2 to 12 minutes.

  • No, DCA parking shuttles are not 24/7, and hours vary by lot. Hilton Arlington National Landing runs longest, 4:30 AM to midnight, while Holiday Inn National/Crystal City starts equally early but ends at 11:00 PM. Courtyard Alexandria Pentagon South has the tightest window, 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Check your lot's schedule for early or late flights, and keep a rideshare as backup.

  • Yes, round-trip shuttle service is included at no extra charge and covers both DCA terminals. Pickup varies by lot. At Holiday Inn National/Crystal City, look for "Hotel Shuttle" signage outside baggage claim, with a dedicated shelter at Terminal 1 and a stop at Door 9 for Terminal 2. At Embassy Suites Crystal City, pickup is at Zone 3. Check your confirmation email for your lot's exact stop.

  • Yes, reserving DCA parking in advance is a smart move. Construction has cut Economy Lot capacity by about 40% through 2026, so on-airport spots sell out fast. SoCalPark bookings guarantee your spot, start at $8.50 per day, and include a free shuttle and free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival. Book 1-2 weeks ahead, or 3-4 during holidays.

  • Yes, you can park covered near DCA. Courtyard Alexandria Pentagon South is 4 to 5 miles out with a covered garage, and Embassy Suites Crystal City offers the same about a mile away. If you would rather go outdoors and save, Holiday Inn National/Crystal City sits about a mile from the airport too.

  • Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund, or within 24 hours for a $9.95 fee. No-shows and post-arrival cancellations are not eligible for a refund. You can update or cancel your reservation anytime at socalpark.com/reservation.

  • Not really. Crystal City and Pentagon City have no Metro parking near DCA. SoCalPark is the simpler, cheaper option, starting at $8.50 per day with a free shuttle straight to your terminal.
